Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS), which recycles over 550 million pounds of plastic per year, joined The Recycling Partnership.

The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) announced that Curt Cozart of Common Sense Solutions has also become APR’s chief operating officer and Sandeep Kulkarni has joined APR as a technical consultant. 

Canadian stewardship group Cleanfarms reported 76% of plastic agricultural pesticide and fertilizer containers were recycled in 2020, up from 71% in 2019.

Eastman announced that LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics will use plastic produced by Eastman’s chemical recycling technologies. 

Unifi, Inc., which owns the Repreve recycled polyester fiber brand, announced James Cooper Jr. has been hired as the company’s sustainability manager and Sara Porter has been hired as its brand sales manager of Global Business Development, Nonwovens, Films and Rigid Packaging. 

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced a sustainable plastics initiative funded by the Sangreal Foundation.
