Assurant released its Q3 2024 Mobile Trade-In and Upgrade Industry Trends Report, which highlights how innovations such as 5G and AI are driving consumer behavior. 

Robotics company Molg won a $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to improve circularity of consumer laptops and batteries.

Nominations for the Recycled Material Association’s 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award are now being accepted. The award is given annually to at least one person who has made significant contributions over their lifetime to the recycled materials industry or the association.

The U.S. Department of Energy announced $45 million in award money for eight projects lowering the costs of recycling EV batteries.
