Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI) announced the appointment of four new members to its board of directors: Paul Walker of Samsung Electronics America, Cheryl T. Coleman of The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) Daniel Ott of the Reverse Logistics Group and Craig Boswell of HOBI International. SERI will also allow remote audits to help companies transition to R2v3. 

Stellar launched a new version of its BitRaser mobile eraser and diagnostics technology that can perform high-speed erasure of up to 40 devices simultaneously. 

Sunnking started its first-ever “Name the Shredder Contest” to allow residents and businesses across New York to submit names for its electronics shredder, which processes over 10 million pounds a year. 

Headphone and audio product maker AVID Products announced a partnership with The Electronics Reuse and Recycling Alliance (TERRA) to offer a nationwide no-cost recycling program for headphones, headsets and earbuds.
