ATR opens processing facility in Northeast

Advanced Technology Recycling is continuing its nationwide expansion with a location in Allentown, Pa.

ATR, an e-scrap recycling and ITAD company based in Pontiac, Ill., announced the opening of the 30,000-square-foot facility in eastern Pennsylvania. The site is one of the company’s largest. The business also has locations in Birmingham, Ala.; Buffalo, N.Y.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Las Vegas; Pontiac, Ill.; Salt Lake City; and San Antonio.

“This strategic expansion provides ATR with greater ability to offer convenient and expedient service to our existing base of national customers, and also the opportunity to work with new regional clients in the megalopolis of D.C, Philadelphia, New York City, and Baltimore,” according to the release.

ATR is looking to hire up to 10 people to open the facility, with more to follow.
