Australia: A study by scientists at University of New South Wales concludes the country’s e-scrap recycling laws need to be revamped. The researchers compared Australia’s practices with those in Japan and Switzerland and found Australia’s methods were outdated and ineffective.

Ghana: A new e-scrap law in Ghana could generate $100 million a year for recycling infrastructure and programs. According to Pulse, the law also details how to handle hazardous waste.
