Recycling campaign connects county
Recycling campaign connects countyBy Editorial Staff, Resource Recycling St. Louis County is planning on launching its first-ever county-wide education campaign aimed at increasing recycling. "Recycling Becomes Me [1]" is an effort by the Saint Louis County (Missouri) Department of Health's Solid Waste Management to educate the public about the importance of recycling, particularly curbside collection. The campaign interjects recycling containers in unlikely situations in an effort to get the attention of residents of the county and will also include radio and newspaper advertisements, direct mail and outreach through social media. The effort is part of a collaboration with the Curbside Value Partnership, a national invitation-only program designed to increase participation in curbside recycling programs. |
