With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a roundup of the firms announcing certification this past week.

  • Aurora, Colorado-based Community Computer Connection, Inc. is now certified to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and R2:2008.
  • AAI SecureDocs of Minneapolis; AccuShred NW of Gresham, Oregon; Adera, Inc. of Naples, Florida; Blue-Pencil Mobile Shredding, Inc. of Oakville, Ontario; Corrigan Record Storage of Novi, Michigan; First-Shred LLC of San Antonio; Five Star Shredding of Alpharetta, Georgia; Goodwill So CA, Secure Shredding of Los Angeles; Proshred of Northern Virginia of Sterling, Virginia; RW Lone Star Security LLC of Temple, Texas; TITAN Mobile Shredding LLC of Pipersville, Pennsylvania; Total Destruction of Alamogordo, New Mexico; Vanish Document Shredding of Houston; WesTex Document, Inc. of Amarillo, Texas; and WesTex Document, Inc. of Lubbock, Texas have either achieved or renewed their NAID Certifications for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.

Announcement: E-Scrap News has added OHSAS 18001 and NAID AAA into its certification directory, as well as moved the directory online.
