With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.

  • Green Chip, Inc. of Brooklyn, New York is now ISO 14001 and R2 certified.
  • McKean, Pennsylvania's Cartridge Recycling Center is now R2 certified.
  • Access in Kona, Hawaii; American Data Security in Oak Park, Michigan; Data Management Shredding in Terre Haute, Indiana; Piranha Mobile Shredding in Evansville, Indiana; ProShred Security in Raleigh, North Carolina; Safeguard Shredding in Alexandria, Virginia; and Shark Shredding in Mokena, Illinois have all either achieved or renewed their NAID Certification for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
